Aussie’s Don’t Like It When You Lipsync, Britney!

If this is the case, Australia is going to see a lot less American talent coming through their ports of call! The folks of Australia are looking to pass a “name and shame” law that would require artists to claim ahead of time if they plan on singing live or lip-syncing through their performance. The news of this new system comes as Britney Spears arrives to perform 14 shows for the Aussies while charging upwards of $1500 for a ticket and will not be singing live! Of course, we all know that she’ll probably lip-sync, but folks down under think it is unfair to charge some extreme prices when patrons aren’t getting a full “live” show. Virginia Judge , the Fair Trading Minister and Minister Assisting the Premier on the Arts, said she would much rather people go see local talent than a costly “Mickey Mouse performance” : “Let’s be clear – live means live
